UNA NUOVA ESPOSIZIONE PER LA PROJECT ROOM: VENERDÌ 11 SETTEMBRE ARRIVA “SOGLIA” DI MARCELA GUTIÉRREZ
Venerdì 11 settembre alle 19.00 vi aspettiamo nella nostra Project Room per scoprire Soglia, il progetto di Marcela Gutiérrez nato dalla residenza artistica al Santuario di Nostra Signora di Soviore, nel Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre.
Durante il soggiorno a Soviore, l’orizzonte è diventato il punto di partenza di una ricerca sull’atto del vedere.
Quella linea immaginaria in cui mare e cielo sembrano incontrarsi diventa una soglia: tra un colore e l’altro, tra ciò che osserviamo e ciò che immaginiamo.
Nei dipinti, acqua, gravità e tempo entrano nel processo creativo. Il lavoro si estende poi oltre la tela, nelle relazioni tra le opere e nello spazio che le unisce: cambiando punto di vista, cambia anche la composizione.
Soglia nasce così dall’incontro con un luogo e da uno sguardo che, attraversandolo, si trasforma.

A NEW EXHIBITION FOR THE PROJECT ROOM: “SOGLIA” BY MARCELA GUTIÉRREZ OPENS ON FRIDAY 11 SEPTEMBER
On Friday 11 September at 7.00 pm, join us in our Project Room to discover Soglia, Marcela Gutiérrez’s project developed during her artist residency at the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Soviore, in the Cinque Terre National Park.
During her time in Soviore, the horizon became the starting point for an exploration of the act of seeing.
That imaginary line where sea and sky appear to meet becomes a threshold: between colours, between what we observe and what we imagine.
Water, gravity and time become part of the painting process. The work also extends beyond the canvas, through the relationships between the paintings and the space they create. As the viewpoint changes, so does the composition.
